Downtown Miami among the 10 Fastest growing Neighborhoods in America!

Realtor.com identified the 10 Fastest-growing neighborhoods in the Country that are also expected to grow even faster in the coming years due to available job opportunities, a number of families settling in, and a booming construction industry to meet the high demand of new homes in the area.

To come up with the results, the study combined projected data for job creation, formation of households, and new construction for 2016 to pin point the fastest growing counties in the nation. Based on the Zip code analysis done, and taking the top 100 counties in the Nation as comparable data, every one of these top 10 neighborhoods experienced up to 5 times the job growth, up to 7 times household growth, up to 6 times new home starts, and they are all projected to grow between 9% and 19% over the next five years over the rest of the top 100 areas. All these of course choosing areas with a balanced growth spur, in other words, where the increase in households is leaded by job opportunities which in turn creates the demand for the new homes being built.
Some of the areas that made the list might not surprise you, some might shock you, and some you might even think had already reached their highest point, but all proved they deserve to be at the top.

In the case of the Downtown area in Miami, including Midtown and adjacent neighborhoods, just a few years ago you wouldn’t have thought of going there since they had nothing to offer at the time, all the excitement was concentrated in South Beach. Now however, through the gentrification process the area has flourished to become one of the hippest areas of the city full of restaurants, shopping, galleries, nightlife, and a walkability factor that attracts many professionals to the zone.

Projected five-year household growth: 14.9%
